M&L Group started with M&L Painting in 1981 as a home-based business with one employee, but today we are one of the largest commercial painting companies in our region with a committed work force. Over the years our clients have asked us to complete a variety of scopes that typically wouldn’t be considered a painter’s scope but, because of our dedication to servicing our clients, we would always find a way. M&L Painting added three partner companies, Surface Renewal Systems, Record Fireproofing, and Peak Insulation, with the goal of filling common scope gaps for our customers.

Another need that constantly came up was for intumescent painting, fireproofing, and fire caulking. Similar to our situation with SRS, we could perform these scopes but did not have the licensing to purchase the products. In early 2020, we purchased Record Fireproofing from Richard Record who comes with over 40 years of experience in the industry. With Richard’s experience, licensing for the products and our operations team, we are confident we can complete your acoustic spray, cementitious fireproofing, spray insulation, intumescent painting and fire caulking projects.
Partnered with our fireproofing company, Record Fireproofing, the addition of Peak Insulation to M&L Group’s portfolio of companies allows us to enhance the solutions we offer to meet your insulation and fireproofing requirements more comprehensively than ever before.
